There are many methods of transportation around Megacity, below are listed some of the most common.

PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Cars/Vehicles: Most of the low income areas have vehicles that operate and look just about the same as they do from the 2000s. The only difference being there are more fully electric vehicles, and the gas powered ones consume very little gas.

AC Vehicles: Some vehicles are able to drive completely airborne, however the only people who have permits to drive or buy a car like this are private military/law enforcement. However smaller recreational AC vehicles (or hovercrafts) are common among civilians (skateboards, scooters, bikes etc.)

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

MegaRail: The high speed train system that has a web of railways throughout Megacity. There are various smaller train companies that own routes in this system (for example; DiSanto Railways) Some routes are underground/underwater, while some are above ground. These trains are mostly meant for short distances, making frequent stops; but some can be used to travel across the continent. They hover above metal tracks and move quietly at highspeed thanks to strong electric currents. They are self driven and do not required a driver, but some themed or commercial trains have a robot driver for a personable effect.

Lunar Shuttles: Commercial space crafts meant to transport tourists from Earth to Megacity's tourist Moon base. These come in a variety of looks depending on the company but most are large squarish and bulky due to the nature of the technology. They normally have hundreds of tiny windows on the sides of the passenger compartments. the passenger area is quiet and comfortable with a personal light, reclining seat and side table, as well as on demand entertainment for the day long trip.
