BUTTER was bio-engineered in a sketchy clone facility in the outskirts of the NORTH PREFECTURE. Having been made for the sole purpose of organ harvesting, he escaped without his heart.

Thanks to the kindness of strangers and his hourly bio-injections he lived long enough to travel the city, and eventually find a home in the SOUTH PREFECTURE. Hoping to repay the kindness that was shown to him, he spends his time in the streets, helping and defending those who need it as a vigilante. 

He was the first to find the CENTRALITY refugees, and give them a home.
