DR. CRIMSON APRICUS was a botanist and agricultural scientist working in CENTRALITY. As one of the lead researchers for Centrality's artificial  ecosystem (MERI), she specialized in fungi to promote natural growth of plant life. One of her experiments went wrong and fused with her brain, giving her the ability to hear plants.

 

During this time Apricus met NIHM through the internet. Nihm helped her realize her dream of escaping CENTRALITY, and trying to save the rest of MEGACITY's ecosystem if it wasn't already too late.
